He and Congressman Larry MacDonald didn't understand the complete picture, did not understand the massive Islamic support for Cold War Marxism, but I bet Mr. Griffin does today. Congressman MacDonald wasn't allowed the opportunity because he was assassinated by Jihadis working inside the CIA and KGB. The elimination of those who "see" continues today.
This is an hour long retrospective on the battle against insurgency, subversion and terrorism. When this was written, they believed that all terrorism was ultimately the product of or supported by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. *(USSR - communist Russia and her client communist states). What they did not comprehend was that although most of the actors were Marxist, a great portion of them were Marxist/Muslim so that following the fall of the USSR, NOTHING change of the FORCE and POWER of insurgency, subversion and terrorism. It remained Marxist/Muslim with Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Georgia and other satellite states returning to their CHRISTIAN ROOTS.
Shed of that weight, The Movement in fact INCREASED world wide with the Marxists facade falling away, and behind World Marxism you heard the words, "Allahu Akbar! " So fast forward thirty years and the methods are IDENTICAL and instead of ex-Christian Communists like in Russia, we are battling Marxist/Muslims the CORE of Islam itself.
