I was on a friends FB page and a group of people were debating the reasons they supported Trump or Clinton. I was amazed at the shallow level of the debate and how little information upon which their opinions were based. I realized that, for the most part, they were just repeating lines they had heard in the media, accepting those soundbites without knowledge of their veracity. Many of them were making a moral equivalency argument as if both candidates were equally degenerate.
I really had a hard time believing what I was hearing;
Could questions of Trump University rival the questions of the Clinton foundation?
Could the mere accusations that Trump was "forward" and inappropriate with some women actually be compared to Hillary Clinton's access and use of Pedophile Island, or Bill Clinton's admitted rapes, and molestations, one causing his impeachment and another costing him almost a million dollar settlement?
But the one that got me was the comparison of Trump's brash speaking style with Hillary Clinton's actual and real setting the Middle East on Fire and creating Christian Genocide in Iraq and Syria. Genocide recognized by both the U.S. State Department and the U.N. Commission on Human Rights.
So, while I could not be proud of some of the things Trump is accused of doing in his history, what sane person could believe that they are equivalent to the crimes of Hillary Clinton? Even if Trump University could be blown up to look as evil as the Global Shakedown Cartel the Clinton's created, now fully document . . . even if I gave you that, and started from there. What is Clinton's governing philosophy and Trump's governing philosophy that is and will be reflected in their POLICIES?
(1) Which one is actively going after government corruption?
(2) Which one is willing to abandon the Globalist Policies that have destroyed the American Manufacturing base, putting nearly 50 million people on food stamps?
(3) Which one has a 30 years history advocating against Globalist Trade Deals, and advocating for America First, and American Workers First?
(4) Which one has rightly said, "If you do not have borders, you do not have a country"?
(5) Which one was willing to dilute our sovereignty with NAFTA, and destroy our sovereignty with the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement?
(6) Which one thinks that killing an infant in the birth canal is just fine?
(7) Which one is willing to expose the corruption in the American Political System.
(8) Which one has exposed the Globalist agenda?
A Christian friend describing Trump's attraction to women said, "Trump has faced unlimited temptation and had the money to act on his lusts, and he hasn't destroyed himself. Yet, would I say he is carnal? Yes, I would. But then again, faced with power to create corruption and scandal, what is Hillary's record?
Is she murderous?
Did she create Genocide?
Did she needlessly overthrow stable countries and governments?
Does she have the blood of tens and maybe hundreds of thousands of people on her hands?
Well, the answer is yes to all of these questions. So I would say Trump is Carnal, Hillary Clinton is demonic. There is no, nor can be any moral equivalency in this. The decision for me is obvious.
BTW, Jesus instructed us to judge people by not their words, not even their actions, but the result of their actions. The Clintons built a multi-national bribery and extortion crime enterprise and created carnage, this is documented history now. Trump built a business that has a net worth of 10 billion dollars, employs tens of thousands of people. That is the record of the "fruit" by which we should judge them. How could anyone be so disconnected from the perception of TRUTH not to understand this?
Note about the author. I first met Ambrose Stapelton in 1996, and yes it does seem like 20 years. He has always been a seeker of truth, and amazing person, battling serious physical health challenges he has honed his mind, discipline his heart in faith, and learned to perceive and speak Truth.
